The agreement between you (the parent holding the account) and Glurpa. Plain English on purpose.
Glurpa sells parental-control software: a channel allowlist you control, kid profiles, screen-time limits, resume-where-you-left-off, drift alerts, and sync across your family's devices. We never sell access to YouTube content, and we never charge you to watch a video. Playback itself is never paywalled: we do not stop the player, insert anything before a video, or make any video cost money to watch. The plan decides how many of your approved channels run at once — see "Plans and your library" below.
Playback is provided by YouTube through YouTube's own official embedded player. We do not host, download, store, cache, or modify any video. What is available, and what plays before or during a video, is decided by YouTube and the channel owner, not by us. Your use of the player is also governed by YouTube's Terms of Service, which you agree to by using Glurpa.
Glurpa is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. We reference YouTube only to describe what our software works with.
We do not remove, block, skip, or alter advertising, and we never will. Glurpa works with your family's own YouTube Premium subscription — if playback is ad-free for you, that is because YouTube is delivering it that way to your Premium household, not because of anything Glurpa does. YouTube Premium is sold by YouTube, separately, and we get no part of it.
The free plan is free forever, not a trial. It does not expire and we will not switch it off to push you to pay. The paid plan is billed by Stripe monthly or yearly; cancel any time and you keep the paid features until the end of the period you paid for.
Your library is yours and we never delete it. Every channel you have ever approved stays saved to your account on every plan, including after you cancel.
What the plan decides is how many of those channels run at once. The free plan runs three; Pro runs your whole library. Channels above your plan's allowance are paused, not removed — they sit in your library and switch straight back on if you upgrade again. Nothing is re-approved, re-added, or lost.
You choose which ones are live. Pause and unpause any channel at any time from the dashboard. If a subscription ends and more channels are live than your plan runs, we ask you to pick which ones stay on — we do not choose for you.
To be plain about what this is and is not: it is a limit on how much of the software runs on the free plan, in the same way the free plan gives you one kid profile instead of four. It is not a charge to watch anything. Whatever is live plays in full, with no interruption, on every plan.
You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of the children whose profiles you create. You are responsible for the channels you approve, for keeping your sign-in email secure, and for supervising what your family watches. One household per account.
We may suspend an account that does these things.
Glurpa is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep the player kid-proof, but software fails, YouTube changes, videos disappear, and nothing here replaces adult supervision. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot legally be limited.
What we collect and who receives it is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement.
We will email you before these terms change in a way that matters. You can close your account at any time from parent settings, which deletes your data immediately. We can end the agreement if you break these terms or if we shut the service down, and we will give notice and a refund of any unused paid period if we do.
